These plats were found from several locations including Lincoln County Land Services Department, Lincoln County Highway Department, and the Lincoln County Town Halls. Each plat contributed to the creation of the vector (Line) data and associated attributes. The source content included transportation plats from the 1924s up until 2019. The source dates were obtained from the transportation plats which included original creation dates and revision dates. 1924-12-12T00:00:00 2019-11-04T00:00:00 PDF Transportation plats were converted to TIFF format. Lincoln County possessed transportation plat scans from the Lincoln County Highway department. The project was contracted to Geographic Technologies Group(GTG). GTG preformed this step in order to have the plats scans in a format for ArcGIS to use. This step to create georeferenced plats was needed for two reasons. First, to create the ability for a user to view scans directly on the map. This would allow for a better representation of the plat in reference to the real world and the surroundings. The second goal was give the producer of the data the ability to see exactly where to produce lines for the feature class that will connect to the PDF version of the plat. The georeferenced tiffs were used here to help create the polylines in the correct location. Each line represents one transportation plat. The creation of these lines were necessary for a user to have the ability to visually/spatially search for transportation plats. This would allow the user of the data to search for plats by a query. Once GTG had completed rectifying and creating the polyline feature class, the work was sent back to Lincoln County. 2018-07-19T00:00:00 The first part of this feature class creation with Geographic Technologies Group performing this work took form 2/20/18 through 8/10/18.
